South Alabama Spring Practice without Pads

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) The South Alabama Jaguars practiced Wednesday morning without pads to focus primarily on drills and instruction.

Head Coach Joey Jones says the team is making progress in a lot of areas, but there are some areas in which they are focusing.

“If you look at our kicking game our punters need to be better, we need to find who is going to be our guy there. I think that our field goal game is going pretty well. I'm really pleased with that,” said Jones.

The athletic department says the team’s final Spring practice will be Friday just before Saturday’s scrimmage that starts at 9 a.m.
