Karen Has Dissipated, Rainfall Expected
MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) The National Hurricane Center reports only remnants remain of what was once Tropical Storm Karen.
NHC officials said the remnants are expected to cause rainfall of up to three inches over portions of the central gulf coast and southeastern states through Monday evening.
According to the NHC's final advisory at 10 Sunday morning, Karen no longer well defined. Karen is about 85 miles south west of the mouth of the Mississippi River.
The system is moving at 13 miles per hour.
No coastal watches or warnings are in effect.
