Revisions Made To New Dress Code Policy
MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WPMI) The Mobile County Public School Board is already making revisions to a proposed dress code that many were calling too severe.
A rule requiring earrings to be no longer that half an inch long has been removed, as well as a rule not allowing dramatic make-up that would cause a distraction.
A rule requiring that undergarments be worn has been changed to say that they cant be worn outside of clothing or be seen through clothing. Theyve also changed the wording on the tattoo rule saying they cant be indecent, vulgar, or obscene.
A rule still remains that pants and slacks cant be shorter than ankle length, and staff cant wear school logos from schools outside the Mobile County Public School System.
