MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Young children who drink soda may act aggressively towards their peers according to a new study.
The study in the Journal of Pediatrics analyzed survery responses filled out by mothers of 3,000 5 year olds. They found nearly half the children had at leasts one soft drink a day.
They found a child's aggressive behaviour score increased with the amount of soft drink servings per day. Kids who drank 4 or more sodas a day had twice as likely chance of destroying other kids toys, get into fights or attack others.
