New York, NY (Sports Network) - The New York Knicks traded guard Ronnie Brewer to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday for a 2014 second-round draft pick.

Brewer, 27, appeared in 46 games for the Knicks this season, starting 34 of them. He averaged 3.6 points per game, but fell out of the rotation in mid- January.

The Thunder will be Brewer's fifth NBA team after stops with the Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies, Chicago Bulls and Knicks. He was picked 14th overall by the Jazz in the 2006 NBA Draft.

Brewer, who will be a free agent after the season, owns career averages of 8.4 ppg, 3.0 rpg and 1.7 apg.

On the Thunder, Brewer could see backup minutes behind Kevin Durant.
