Columbus, OH (Sports Network) - Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller left Saturday's game against Purdue late in the third quarter.

Miller was dragged down from behind by Purdue's Josh Johnson after a 37-yard run. He remained on the ground for a time before being helped off the field.

After a few minutes on the bench, Miller was also slowly moved to a cart and taken into the locker room. He was eventually taken by ambulance to the medical center on campus.

The Columbus Dispatch, citing an Ohio State spokesman, reported Miller was released from the hospital later Saturday and deemed "system free" of any injury.

Backup quarterback Kenny Guiton filled in for Miller and helped the Buckeyes come back to win in overtime, 29-22, to remain undefeated.
