Recap: Cal State Fullerton vs. Southern Utah

Reno, NV (Sports Network) - D.J. Seeley poured in 32 points as the Cal State Fullerton Titans routed the Southern Utah Thunderbirds 112-69 as part of the World Vision Classic at Lawlor Events Center.

Seeley also handed out seven assists and collected seven of Cal State Fullerton's (1-2) 20 steals. Kwame Vaughn added 19 points, Sammy Yeager chipped in 14 and Alex Harris tacked on 15 off the bench.

Damon Heuir scored 14 points to lead Southern Utah (0-3). Jackson Stevenett had 13 points as well while Chris Nsenki and Julian Scott scored 10 and 11, respectively.

Cal State Fullerton got off to a blazing start knocking down 19-of-26 shots in the first half including 5-of-7 from beyond the arc. Souther Utah was a solid 12-of-22 but couldn't keep pace. Seeley scored 21 of his 32 points in the first half.

The Titans cooled off slightly in the second half (18-of-31) but were still lights out from beyond the arc (7-of-10) as they coasted to the win.

Cal State Fullerton had 30 total assists as a team and forced 31 turnovers.
