Recap: Wofford vs. Furman

Spartanburg, SC (Sports Network) - Karl Cochran scored 22 points and grabbed five rebounds as the Wofford Terriers closed their Southern Conference regular-season campaign with a 67-52 win over the Furman Paladins at Benjamin Johnson Arena.

Kevin Giltner scored 17 points for the Terriers (19-12, 12-6 SoCon) who will be the second seed out of the South Division for the Southern Conference Tournament. Brad Loesing added 15 points. Drew Crowell added five rebounds of his own.

Bryson Barnes scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Paladins (14-15, 8-10), who will be seeded fifth out of the South Division for the tournament. Brandon Sebirumbi finished with 13 points and Jordan Loyd 10 points.

Wofford led 30-25 at halftime after shooting 40.7 percent from the floor in the first half and 5-of-13 from long range. Furman shot 42.9 percent from the floor but was just 1-of-7 from outside the arc.

Wofford led by as many as 17 in the second half.

The Terriers shot 48 percent from the floor for the game.
