Recap: Harvard vs. Penn

Cambridge, MA (Sports Network) - Zack Rosen hit two free throws with 23 seconds left in the game to give the Penn Quakers a 55-54 win over the Harvard Crimson in Ivy League action at Lavietes Pavilion.

Rosen scored 20 points for the Quakers (17-11, 9-2 Ivy) which has won five straight and is now even with Harvard in the loss column in the Ivy League standings. Fran Dougherty grabbed four rebounds and blocked three shots for the Quakers in the winning effort.

Kyle Casey scored 12 points and grabbed six rebounds for Harvard (24-4, 10-2) which is still in first place in the league, a half-game up on the Quakers. Wesley Saunders added 10 points off the bench as the Crimson saw its three- game winning streak come to an end.

Harvard led 30-24 at halftime after going 10-of-17 from the floor in the opening 20 minutes. The hosts led by as many as eight.

Harvard led 49-40 with 8:10 left in regulation, but the Quakers outscored their hosts 15-5 the rest of the way, Rosen hit a jumper with 1:29 left to bring Penn within a point to set up the finish. Corbin Miller missed a three- point try for Harvard with 10 seconds left. The Crimson got the rebound, but turned the ball over while working for a final shot.
