Recap: Richmond vs. Dayton

Richmond, VA (Sports Network) - Darien Brothers poured in 30 points and Kendall ANthony scored 20 in Richmond's 82-71 win over Dayton at the Robins Center.

Derrick Williams posted 13 points for the Spiders (16-15, 7-9 A-10), who finished their regular season with victories in three of their last four contests. The conference tournament awaits next week for Richmond, which could finish as high as a tie for ninth in the Atlantic 10 and will play on the road as the 10th seed in Tuesday's first-round game.

Chris Johnson had 22 points for the Flyers (18-11, 8-7), who will conclude the regular season at home on Saturday against George Washington. Kevin Dillard ended with 11 points and nine assists.

Richmond started the game on a 12-4 run and eventually carried a 36-30 lead into halftime, thanks in part to a 15-of-30 performance from the field in the opening 20 minutes.

The Spiders held a 10-point lead with nine minutes remaining, but the Flyers cut the deficit to 60-58 with 5:30 left after a layup from Alex Gavrilovic.

Anthony and Greg Robbins both hit three-pointers to stem the tide. That was the start of a 13-0 run that sealed the outcome.
