Recap: Miami-Florida vs. Boston College

Coral Gables, FL (Sports Network) - The duo of Kenny Kadji and Durand Scott scored 14 points apiece to lead the Miami-Florida Hurricanes to a decisive 77-56 victory over the Boston College Eagles in an ACC clash at the BankUnited Center.

Malcolm Grant added 12 points in the win for Miami (18-11, 9-7 ACC), while Reggie Johnson tallied 10 points to go with seven rebounds.

Matt Humphrey scored 16 points to lead the way for Boston College (9-21, 4-12), which also got 11 points apiece from Dennis Clifford and Jordan Daniels.

The Hurricanes shot at a blistering 60.7 percent clip during the opening 20 minutes to take a commanding 46-25 lead into the break.

The Eagles held the Hurricanes to just 39.3 percent from the floor during the second stanza, but the first-half deficit proved to be too much for Boston College to overcome.

The Eagles were guilty of a game-high 17 giveaways during the contest.
