Updated: Tuesday, July 30 2013, 05:39 PM CDT

CLEVELAND (AP) -- Chicago White Sox starter Jake Peavy is sitting this one out. The club has pushed back his scheduled start tonight against the Cleveland Indians ahead of the 4 p.m. Wednesday trade deadline.

The Sox, last in the American League Central division, are said to be shopping Peavy, who is 8-4 with a 4.28 ERA. Boston and Oakland among the teams most interested in Peavy.

His spot on the mound is being taken by rookie Andre Rienzo, who will make his major league debut and is the first Brazilian to pitch in the majors.

The White Sox, who are 23 games under .500 for the first time since 2007, may have other deals in mind. On Monday, they traded reliever Jesse Crain to Tampa for future considerations.
