(WPMI) - Keeping track of your kids is a full-time job, so naturally there's a device and app that can help you out. Beluvv's Guardian is a tracking device that becomes more effective as more people use it. It's a Bluetooth enabled radio chip that you can embed in a bracelet, necklace or buckle for your child's clothing.
The system works in two modes. The first is a local Bluetooth range that will keep tabs on your kids immediate whereabouts and send your phone an alert if he or she starts to approach the tracking perimeter.
The app is also designed to create a network of parents that grows stronger as more people join. Since every copy of the Guardian app can connect to central servers, when your child leaves your phone's range, the cloud-based system triggers a network search. Meaning, you'll get an alert with your child's location if he or she is close to another person with the app.
Guardian is currently in pre-order phase on Beluvv's website for $24.95
