Just about every mom wants to have a Martha Stewart holiday with the decorations, gifts and big dinner; but that dream can also put unneccesary stress on you. Let's face it though, how many working mom's actually have the time to fit it a winter wonderland into their crazy schedules. Like santa, make a naughty and nice list. On the nice list put the things down you do realisticly have time to do for yourself. On the naughty list designate. Whether it's to assign things for other family members or to pay someone to help you, don't overexert yourself. Use the internet, don't be afraid to do some christmas shopping online. There are very safe, legitimate sites where you can find some great deals. Take time for yourself and stay sane! Whether its fitting in a workout or some pampering or just sitting down and reading a good book. Whatever helps relieve stress. Lastly, adjust your expectations. Just because you may have celebrated holidays one way when you were a child; doesn't mean your family has to do the same. Make new traditions.
