MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Mobile’s only dog park is getting a makeover.
Members and Friends of Mobile Dog Park set aside time on Saturday to keep the area clean.
Organizers said they wanted to keep the dog park safe for dogs and people.
Some of the efforts included: cleaning the park and planting flowers at the park’s entrance.
Roy Mosley, VP for Friends of Mobile Dog Park, said there are big incentives to keep the park in good condition.
“The city said they would give us the land is we kept up the upkeep of it, so that’s one incentive for us to do that. The other one is that we like to make the dog park as welcoming as we can” said Mosley.
Mosley said that there is no limitations at the park and all dogs are welcome.
