MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Another painstaking day as the hostage situation in Midland City continues into another night.
Negotiators are still trying to convince 65-year-old Jimmy Lee Dykes to surrender. Heavily armed officers surround the area.
It was Tuesday when police say Dykes shot a school bus driver and took a 5-year-old boy to an underground shelter on his property.
Friends and family gathered on Saturday for the slain bus driver's visitation service.
Bus Driver Charles Poland laid to rest Sunday.
