TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Students at the University of Alabama are seeking hair donations so that hairpieces can be given to ill children.

The "Locks of Love" event will be hosted by the University of Alabama rowing team and the school's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee on Sunday afternoon at Coleman Coliseum.

The Tuscaloosa News (http://bit.ly/TeHeDq ) reports that the donations will be turned into hairpieces for poor children suffering from long-term medical hair loss.
