(PRICHARD, Ala.) - There was a big turnout for the annual Fall Festival at St. James Major Church in Prichard.
Saturday marked the 60th year for the event, which had everything from hamburgers and hotdogs to homemade candy and snacks. The church is also celebrating 101 years.
"It's an opportunity for the young kids to come together, for the entire community to come and enjoy themselves," said former Mobile County District Judge Herman Thomas. "It's all about family. It's a fun family festival."
This is the only fundraiser for the church this year. Event goers rave over the delicious barbecue.
