MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) - Mardi Gras versus Super Bowl. Why should anyone have to choose? For revelers in Mobile Sunday night, it was a matter of splitting their attention.

"Watch a little bit of the game, catch the parade and going to the ball," one fan said. "You got the game on the big screen, biggest screen in Mobile and the parade right outside the window so you get the best of both worlds," another added.

Some were diplomatic about their choice. When asked who she was rooting for in the Super Bowl, one woman replied, "The city of New Orleans."

Others were not so impressed by football's biggest night. "I could care less about the Super Bowl, I'm just here for the food," one woman said.

Outside there were plenty of throws Sunday night, proving no matter what's going on in other cities, during Mardi Gras in Mobile, the good times will always roll.
