FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WPMI) Fairhope Police are on the hunt for an escaped inmate.
Thursday around 2:50 p.m., officials say Demetie Smith disappeared while on a work release program in Loxley. Smith is considered non-violent. He's a minimum security inmate working for the City of Fairhope.
If you spot Smith, contact authorities.
