PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) - The brothers who own the Pascagoula Ice and Freezer Co. say they have no plans to reopen the site, which burned in February.
The Sun Herald reports (http://bit.ly/R8G2wk) the business is owned by three brothers, Andre, Warren and David Gautier.
Andre Gautier moved the shrimp-processing segment to Mobile, Ala. Warren Gautier retired, and David Gautier is looking at other options.
The brothers are taking bids on demolition of the northern part of the building, where processing, warehousing and loading were sited.
The structure takes up most of a city block on Pascagoula Street just north of U.S. Highway 90.
