MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Newk's Café is stepping up to help rebuild Murphy High School after the Christmas day storms.

The restaurant donated 10 percent of all sales to the rebuilding of the historic campus. There was one catch, you has to say "I'm here to support Murphy High School."

"Well as a management team, we decided we needed to give back to the community and we were going to go through the schools. What better way to jump start it than with Murphy High School with their loss at Christmas," said manager Tim Lowrey.

Newk's is at the intersection of Azalea Road and Airport Boulevard.

The benefit was Tuesday, March 19, through 9 p.m.
