(MOBILE, Ala.) The mother of a Mobile man who was shot to death one year ago in a Dauphin Island Parkway neighborhood told Local 15 News Friday that she wants justice for her son.

The night of November 16, 2011, Mobile Police found 30-year-old Kevin Manley slumped over in his truck on Steiner Street. Authorities said Manley was shot multiple times.

A Mobile Police spokesperson said Friday there are no updates in the case, and no suspects have been named. A $5,000 Crimestoppers reward for information leading to an arrest in the case has since been returned to family.

Angie Cydrus said she took the day off from work to spend time with her family, and reflect on her son's untimely death on year ago.

"That was the hardest thing I think that's ever happened to me in my life," Cydrus said.

Cydrus said she visits her son's grave at Mobile Memorial Gardens several times a week. She said it has been difficult to bear the anniversary of her son's death, especially for her grandson.

Cydrus said she has taken care of him since his father's death.

"He misses his daddy, you know, they were best buddies," Cydrus said. "They played sports together, they played Xbox together. They did everything together."

Cydrus said that night is still fresh in her mind, though, she said, many have long forgotten it.

"A lot of people have, except for his family," Cydrus said. "I heard my husband start screaming and hollering out in the garage, and I knew, at that point, something was up.

"I'll never forget his scream and his cries when he got that phone call."

Since then, Cydrus said, new information in her son's case has been scarce.

"I know there's someone out there that knows something, but no one's stepped forward," Cydrus said.

Those with information about the case are asked to contact the Mobile Police Department.
