Habitual Felon Sentenced for Selling Pain Pills

BILOXI, Miss. (AP) A 37-year-old St. Martin man prosecuted as a habitual offender has been ordered to serve 15 years for selling prescription pain pills in Biloxi.

The Sun Herald reports Tennille Donte Sellers had three felony drug convictions when a Biloxi police narcotics team watched him sell oxycodone to a confidential informant Jan. 28, 2012.

When officers arrested Sellers, District Attorney Joel Smith he still had 19 pain pills.

Circuit Judge Lisa Dodson sentenced Sellers on guilty pleas Monday to transfer of a controlled substance and possession of oxycodone with intent to distribute.

His previous drug convictions, all in 2007, involved two cocaine charges and one marijuana charge.
