(ST. MARTIN, Miss.) - Authorities say 27-year-old Laura Martin busted into a random house waving a knife and demanding cigarettes.
It all happened Saturday at a home in St. Martin.
Deputies got a 911 call from the victim, who managed to lock himself in his bedroom.
He told deputies that strange woman came into his home and threatened him for cigarettes.
While the man was locked in his room, deputies say Martin ransacked the house. The victim told police he had never seen the woman before.
While on the scene, the man's neighbors said the same woman tried to get into their house.
Martin was tracked down by investigators. She's facing up to 10 years in prison on felony malicious mischief charges.
