BAYOU LA BATRE, Ala. (WPMI) Jury selection will begin February 4 for the conspiracy and fraud case surrounding Bayou La Batre Mayor Stan Wright.
Wright is charged in a scheme to swap land and misuse federal disaster funds after Hurricane Katrina.
Bayou La Batre grant writer Janey Galbraith was convicted for her part in the scheme. She was sentenced to three months in federal prison, and was ordered to pay a $75,000 fine.
