(MOBILE, Ala.) - Bayfest offers a little something for everyone, even the hearing impaired have been able to enjoy the concerts.
Chelsea Jones is a student at Troy University and has been and has been interpreting for the hearing impaired for two years now. She travels around signing for theatrical productions, doctors appointments and concerts.
"They can enjoy music too. They can feel it so we're just giving them the words. They can already feel and see all the energy that's here so we just try to show that energy so they can have fun too. It's a lot of fun," said Jones.
Jones says they research the songs that will be in the bands' set list and rehearse the lyrics so the deaf can enjoy the music like everyone else.
