MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Baker High School placed third in the ‘Champions of the Street’ marching band contest during the Mystics of Time Mardi Gras parade this year.
12 bands in the MOT parade were judged along the parade route by each band director.
The bands were judged on nine different criteria.
The second and third place bands receive a cash prize. While the winner will earn the ‘Champion of the Street’ title and the top cash prize of 500 dollars as well as the first marching band slot in next years parade.
The MOT's will announce the second place winner on Thursday the 28th.
