(DAPHNE, Ala.) - Daphne firefighters are remembering one of their own.
Dan Castrillo has been with the Daphne Fire Department for six years where he worked as a firefighter and then later a fire inspector.
He died suddenly from an illness Wednesday.
Co-workers gathered at the station Wednesday night to share memories.
"Everybody in town knows Dan. Everybody at Daphne High School knows Dan. He would get to know them and just be friends to anybody and everybody he met," says Tom Walker with Daphne Fire.
Co-workers say a cause of death has not been determined.
