(MOBILE, Ala.)   At midnight on Saturday, the popular top 40 station WABD will make a move to the left on your radio dial.

The station will relocate from 104.1 to 97.5 FM.

The spot is currently occupied by the contemporary Christian station K-Love, but for years it was home to WABB FM.

"On the Gulf Coast, hit music has been known to be on 97-5 for decades and decades and decades. And a few months ago, that was taken away. When the opportunity came up to where we could move back to 97-5, it just made sense," said Scott "Scotty" Adams, afternoon DJ at WABD.

WABD said listeners have responded positively to the switch.
