The UTV44 High School Game of the Week presented by Subway heads
down to Ivan Jones stadium for the Blue-Gold Trophy game this week for the Fairhope
Pirates (5-1)(3-1) vs. Foley Lions (4-2)(2-3)
This 6A Region 2 matchup is a key region game for both teams
as both are fighting for region seeding as the playoff season approaches.
Fairhope’s high powered offense averages 43.3 points per
game which ranks best among 6A teams in Alabama. The Defense is only giving up 18.3 points per
game. With one region loss to McGill,
Fairhope needs the win along with a loss by region foes Daphne and McGill to
still have a chance at the top spot of Region 2.
Foley defense which is only giving up 19.3 points per game
must figure out how to stop Chase Domino and the rest of the Fairhope defense.
Kickoff is Friday at 7pm and replay on Saturday at 7pm only on
