The UTV44 High School Game of the Week presented by Whataburger heads to Prichard for the city bragging rights between the Blount Leopards and the Vigor Wolves.
Both teams are coming off Week #4 with region victories, the Leopards defeated Murphy 24-14 and the Wolves defeated B.C. Rain 33-0.
Leopards quarterback Quinterris Toppins was a perfect 17 for 17 with 258 yards passing against the Panthers. He will look to continue that level of play as it will be needed against Vigor. The offense is averaging 38 points per game while the defense is only giving up 13.8 points per game.
The Vigor offense is lead by Devin Adams, they are averaging 23.8 points per game. The defense is not the same from last year, though they are still only giving up 11.5 points per game.
Vigor won the game 13-6 last year at Blount, and have won 13 straight against the Leopards.
Kickoff is Friday at 7pm and replay on Saturday at 7pm only on UTV44.
