The UTV44 High School Game of the Week presented by Subway heads back to Lipscomb Stadium this week for the Davidson Warriors (3-1)(1-1) vs. McGill-Toolen Yellow Jackets (4-0)(3-0).
McGill-Toolen is 4-0 coming off the 28-14 victory over Foley last week. McGill’s offense is lead by quarterback Jason Smith and running back Trey Roberts. Their offense is scoring an average of 30 points a game while the defense is only giving up an average of 15 points a. Davidson is looking to rebound after last week’s 20-7 loss to Blount along with the 25-16 loss to McGill last year during the regular season. Davidson’s offense is not scoring as many points as they would like. Last year they set a team record for scoring 471 points in a season with an average of 33 points a game. This year through four games they have only averaged 17 points a game.
