(PRICHARD, Ala.) Prichard Police have arrested one person, but are still looking for three more in connection with a murder and robbery in March.
Toquin Robinson, 18, was arrested Friday and charged with murder. You may remember the shooting on Edison Street on March 10. The scene got pretty heated between the victim, Robert Savage's family, and police.
Eventually , with a show of force and a promise to make an arrest, Prichard Police were able to ease the tension. Friday, they made good on that promise.
"Apparently on that evening he was walking with another person," Prichard Police Chief Jimmie Gardner said. "This person alleged that several males came out and actually shot and killed Robert Savage, went into his pocket, stole whatever articles that were there and then left the area."
Gardner says he doesn't believe Robinson pulled the trigger. That suspect is identified as Devonta Belfon, 18. Two females are also wanted in the case: Tanisha Jones, 17, and Jessica Mitchell, 19. Gardner believes the person who called police, actually took part in the crime.
"There was a plan and they executed a plan," Gardner said. "And the end result was Robert Savage's death."
Police say Belfon should be considered armed and dangerous. If you know where he, Jones or Mitchell are, call police.
