(MOBILE, Ala.) - A non-profit group in our area is looking into financial irregularities.
South Alabama Cares provided support and assistance to HIV and AIDS patients in 12 counties across Southwest Alabama.
In a statement today, the South Alabama Cares board of directors says it recently learned that some of the group's numbers were not adding up.
They say the irregularities are being investigated.
LOCAL 15 News is also investigating, we'll keep you updated on what we find out.
