MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WPMI) A spokesperson for the Mobile County Sheriff's Office told Local 15 News she expects the investigation surrounding a Mary G. Montgomery teacher and student to be handed over to the district attorney's office.
A search warrant was served on the teacher's home Wednesday. Officials say they took items that would aid in the investigation.
The sheriff's office says it was made aware of an alleged inappropriate relationship between the female teacher and student earlier this week.
The teacher's name has not been released and no arrests have been made.
