Sunday brings a similar day as what we experienced Saturday with a mix of sun & clouds and a few showers to dodge. Highs will reach the upper 80s.
Monday, a cold front will move into our Region along with an upper disturbance...and the two will combine to help create high rain chances for our first day of the workweek. The front will move east of our area by Tuesday, but isolated showers could linger for the first half of the day. In the wake of the front, a nice cool surge of air will move towards the Gulf Coast. The cool Fall feel to the air will be most noticeable in the morning as lows will drop into the 50s (maybe some upper 40s inland). Plus, the sunshine will reign supreme as we end the week!
Guess what, the official start to Fall is next Saturday, Sept. 22nd...and it looks like it's going to begin on a nice note.
