(BAYOU LA BATRE, Ala.) - Neighbors in one Mobile County neighborhood are sounding off after a meth lab exploded near their homes.
It happened in the Safe Harbor neighborhood in Bayou La Batre Tuesday.
Police say a man was seen running from the home, but they aren't releasing a description. They don't believe anyone else was inside the house at the time.
"It could have gotten two or three of these houses," one neighbor said. "It's dangerous for little kids in the community."
Another person who didn't want to be identified says she knows the person who lives at the home.
"He's a great neighbor, you couldn't ask for a better neighbor," she said.
