(MOBILE, Ala.) - The countdown is on to Mobile's New Year's Eve celebration in downtown Mobile.
City Council member Fred Richardson was on Local 15 News at Noon Friday. He laid out the plans for the big night.
The party kicks off at 5 p.m. with live music on three stages. The main stage will feature The Commodores.
There will be plenty for the kids as well, with activities at the Museum of Mobile.
