(MOBILE, Ala.) Daphne native Omar Hammami has been added to the FBI's Most Wanted Terrorists list.
The FBI says Hammami is wanted in connection with terrorism violations, including providing material support to a al-Shabaab, a terrorist organization in Somalia.
Hammami is from Daphne and graduated from Daphne High School. He also attended the University of South Alabama. In 2007 and 2009, Hammami was indicted on terrorist charges. The FBI says there is an active arrest warrant for him.
