MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WPMI) The Mobile County Sheriff's Office is investigating allegations of an inappropriate relationship between a teacher and a student at a local high school.
A sheriff's office spokesperson says officials were contacted by Mary G. Montgomery High School Monday of the alleged relationship between a female teacher and student.
They are in the beginning stages of the investigation. The teacher has been placed on paid administrative leave pending an investigation.
No arrests have been made. The sheriff's office says it will not release the teacher's name unless an arrest is made.
