(MOBILE, Ala.) - A man charged with a double murder in a normally quiet community in Mobile County was back in court for a status hearing.

Jerry Bohannon is charged with gunning down 47 year old Andy Harvey and 24 year old Jerry Duboise at the Paradise Lounge in Kushla.

Today, family members on both sides packed inside the courtroom. Bohannon is charged in the shooting deaths of two men that rattled a community.

Back in December of 2010, Police say Bohannon shot Jerry Duboise, Jr., and 47 year old Andy Harvey outside the bar.

Just two days later, Bohannon was released from jail on 250-thousand dollars bond, and that sparked outrage from some people in the community. Even Prichard's Police Chief Jimmie Gardner pleaded with the District Attorney to make this a Capital Murder Case.

One month later, Bohannon was back behind bars without bond.

Now, Jerry Duboise, Jr.'s family members are looking forward to the trial.

"I want them to see what happened and how he done my child. And, then I want them to turn and I want them to give him the justice that they feel that he needs," says Jerry Duboise, Sr.

Bohannon's trial is set for March 11.
