(MOBILE, Ala.) - Mobile Police were investigating an apparent shooting Wednesday night at the Baymont Inn and Suites on I-65 Service Road.
It's not clear at what time the crime occurred and how many people were involved.
Homicide detectives were scouring the parking lot on the north side of the hotel for clues while a body could be seen lying just outside of a hotel room door underneath a white sheet.
A witness on scene told Local 15 News he called police about the shooting around 8:30 Wednesday night.
Local 15 News made several attempts to reach the Mobile Police Department for any information about the shooting, but calls were not returned.
