(MOBILE, Ala.) - Mobile Police say a man was beaten to death inside a club early Sunday morning.
Investigators say 29-year-old Raymond Boykin was hit in the head inside Club Casino on Tanner Road around 3 a.m. Thirty-one-year-old Jeremy McDaniels is charged with manslaughter in the case.
Police told Local 15 News Boykin was breaking up a fight between two women when McDaniels punched him.
"After that altercation had been separated, our suspect then punched our victim in the head with his fist, knocking him unconscious. He later died from those injuries," said Cpl. Chris Levy with the Mobile Police Department.
McDaniels has already bonded out of jail. He's scheduled to be in court on November 8.
