MOBILE, Ala (WPMI) - There are some events in our area to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy and dream. The Port City chapter of Blacks in Government will host its annual breakfast at the Yvonne Kennedy Auditorium at Bishop State Community College. Tickets are $25.
A memorial march in Loxley will begin at 9 a.m. starting at the Loxley Church of God.
The Baldwin County Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Committee March will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Mac Griffin Park in Foley. The keynote speaker will be civil rights pioneer H. James Chatmon.
