LSU, Alabama Marching Bands Must Pay to Play at BCS Game

(NEW ORLEANS, La.) A controversy is brewing over the BCS National Championship Game. It has nothing to do with football, but LSU and Alabama's marching bands.

Turns out they could be paying close to half a million dollars to travel to and perform at the game.

Both LSU and Alabama estimate it'll cost more than $180,000 just for tickets.

That doesn't include transportation, hotel stays, food, police escorts and other costs.
