FORT RUCKER, Ala. (AP) - Families of Army troops stationed at Fort Rucker have a new place to gather for working out, swimming or playing video games.
Residents and officials at the Alabama Army post attended a ribbon cutting Friday on the new Munson Heights Neighborhood Center - a 7,200-square-foot facility.
The Dothan Eagle reports the center features a workout room, a six-lane swimming pool, a videogame cafDe and a computer lab. It's free to all military residents on Fort Rucker.
Official say this is the third and final neighborhood center built on the Army post as part of a residential improvement plan that's also included almost 700 new homes and more than 550 houses remodeled.
