Former Flomaton Police Chief & Officer Indicted on Several Charges

(FLOMATON, Ala.) - A former Flomaton police chief and a former Flomaton police officer have been indicted on several charges.

Daniel Thompson and Joseph Neal are charged with an ethics violation each and tampering with evidence.

Thompson, the former chief, is also facing theft and drug charges and remains in jail on a $50,000 bond.

Neal is also facing a burglary charge and an obstruction of government operations charge. He's been released from jail.

Thompson resigned from the force in August. He was Flomaton's sixth police chief in just four years.
