(MOBILE, Ala.)   The Go Daddy.com Bowl game is just days away. Kent State University and Arkansas State University will battle for a win, and thousands of fans have flocked to Mobile to witness it all.

"I'm excited, very excited. I can't wait," said Jackson Spencer, cheerleader for ASU's Red Wolves.

Fans of both teams have been waiting all season for an opportunity to bring home a win. Kent State University has not been to a bowl game in nearly 40 years.

Thousands have traveled both long and short distances to cheer on their team this Sunday at the Ladd Peebles Stadium. Some traveled from Kentucky, Arkansas, Ohio, and more.

"Yesterday I flew in. I went from Boise to Denver, Denver to Atlanta, then got on the plane with a couple of teammates and arrived this morning," said Kent State Alumni and former football captain Brian Dusho.

When fans are not cheering for their team, many plan to explore the city.

"We have all these events, the luncheon, the Battlefield, and hopefully [we're] going to see downtown Mobile," said Spencer.

ASU fan Stephen Posey said he plans to go site seeing in Mobile with his family, "Seeing the sites of the town, taking the kids to the museum, seeing the Battleships."

If you would like to attend, you can still purchase tickets for the Go Daddy.com Bowl game.
