(MOBILE, Ala.) - The driver in a car wreck that took the life of a local man has been charged with murder. Alabama State Troopers arrested 25-year-old Jennifer Fram Tuesday.
Fram was driving with 26-year old Nick Markow in the passenger seat April 21. She apparently lost control of the car and slammed into a culvert. Markow was thrown from the vehicle and died.
Fram's license was revoked at the time of the crash. She'd previously been charged with DUI three times.
Markow's mother says she has mixed emotions about the arrest, as her son cared for Fram very much.
"It doesn't bring my son back," she told us, "but I feel that she needs to be off the roads so this doesn't happen to someone else and she doesn't kill herself."
